As I've said before in my blog "Today is the Winter Solstice. Tomorrow the daylight will last that little bit longer and the dark nights that little bit shorter."
It's been a hard year, as the uncharacteristic, neglected shape of my garden bears testament. A year of health concerns, with several appointments, with several specialists, but no clear answers.
One is reminded of a Chuck Berry lyric. "Things I used to do, I don't do no more".
